What's wrong with this guy? He is literally asking for two innocent players livelihood to be destroyed when his whole career depends on players feeding him leaks! Also, I get his shahz angle. Shahz streams a lot so he thinks shaz doesn't care, right? But tenz? The guy barely streams despite being one of the most popular pros. I don't get why he is so mad at them.

hmmmmm i see your point, but again shahzam is part of the issue with his stream schedule like forget the hate and whatever, shahzam still refuses to not stream every single tournament he played in, even 1 or 2 day before his matches and even in lcq(although that was for the whole team).
Listen man u can't deny there's a streaming culture going on with SEN, you saw how zellsis blew up right? evey single new player will want that more than to compete ultimately(zombs) and SEN is telling u we're not about that.
they ultimately want to break through that culture and be just competitive and for that they're letting go of TENZ(probably)
George didn't have to say it like that imo, but he's saying what he heard and actually i respect SEN a lot bcz they're sacrificing a shit ton of clout to make this pure competitive and serious system, i genuinly love what they're doing.

I get what you are saying about shahz but tenz doesn't even stream that much. He streams way less than some other players like cryo, Asuna, xeppa etc. So, a guy should lose his job bc of people's perception that is not based on truth? SEN milked TenZ for content now it's his fault that he became popular? That makes no sense.
no no no i agree with TENZ, i think how george made him as a bad aspect of the team is really wrong from him, what he should've said probably is that keeping TENZ would make all the new comers want to get some of his streaming clout that he brings naturally with him (not his fault whatsoever if what george said is true then the ORG would have really mistreated him) and they decided to start a competitive system in their team away from streaming and so
yeah in conclusion: Tenz have nothing to do with that streaming aspect, it was wrong of george to limp him with shahz like that
NRG, EG did better than SEN in the past year - 90% of their roster is cut. Will from 100T qualified for champs - got cut from his team. C9 mitch had better matches than TenZ in the last year - cut from the team. The list goes on for players who played better than TenZ and Shazam and they dont have a chance in franchised league
BUT somehow supporters of Tenz and Shaz think they deserve to play in the franchised league. If they are so good, they should be able to prove themselves just like everyone else has to.
I am not even a huge supporter or anything. It's just feels wrong and ironic that a valorant reporter can call for peoples head. I mean he isn't an opinion writer or anything either. Pros get dropped all the time and that's fine but he said they don't care about winning and I wanted to understand the basis of it.
George is ultra prone to recency bias, and every time a team performs poorly he underrates the players massively, but realistically there's something to be said about TenZ value as a player. Even if he's still on top mechanically, do you really wanna build a team around him? Dude seems to give no fucks about strategy, and the only time a team with him found real success was when as shahz said: "they were letting him do what he wanted". That seems like an unsustainable approach. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if tenz didnt manage to find a spot on a franchised teams, when there are plenty of players not that much less skilled than him ready to put in hours where tenz isin't
can’t change the fact that he’s one of, if not the most, mechanically gifted players in the game. last year SEN had no real coaching staff which i believe played a huge part in why he seemed “out of control” in most of their matches. i’d give him a chance under a legit coaching staff with 4 months of preparation
I mean if tenz said I don't wanna scrim or I don't wanna follow the script then I would have understood. He didn't elaborate on why he thinks TenZ is a lousy mfer who doesn't put in the effort and doesn't deserve it, so it's all speculation that's hurting a young players image. TenZ seem like a loveable guy, unless he is a shitty person and damn care guy behind the scene then I don't understand this hatred. He literally said I have never liked TenZ and ShahZam!
George has never been a good person or a likeable guy, he consistently tries to start shit with other pros and reporters while acting like he's a saint.
He's not a reporter he's a leaker, reporters actually follow the concepts of journalism, he is the joke of every pro in the scene.
Going on a podcast with someone like Thorin about Valorant doesn't really help his case either.
Don't let this offseason and the leaks he gets allow you to forget that he's a blight on the community.

This whole video was kinda weird tbh. i dont really agree with george's take. I completely understand why people in here are heated about it. Hating on tenz was super cringe. Only thing that kinda make sense was when they said tenz might not be motivated as other young players and could be the reason why tenz wont get picked. But still they cant really say that from outside point of view. Sentinels team and new coaches probably know way more about it and probably make decision on what works best for sentinels

not willing to put in the work = cut them from the roster its that simple cause like he said there are so many players willing to put in the work to win just like in normal pro sports.. no one who doesnt want to put in the work is safe from being benched
