Do you know that originally, the rumors suggested it was going to be 5 KOREAN TEAMS? Jesus christ, all were LCK orgs, and 2 out of 5 teams didn't have a Valorant team. Now? 5 from the APAC region (including South Asia), 3 from Korea, and 2 from JP. Yes, Korea has one of the best rapport for Riot events in the Pacific. But that doesn't exactly mean favouritism.

You guys like to overestimate how bad the Korean scene is, teams like ONS are solid but you guys choose to forget that they were able to beat NTH. Sure DRX owns KR teams but PRX literally does the same to XIA and the rest of the APAC scene.
Korea has tons of talent that just happens to not play in the region. You can make some crazy super teams out of the Korean players in NA (Xeta, Saya, Munchkin, Ban) + the Korean players in Japan (Meteor, JoXJo, Foxy9, iNTRO, Medusa, Astell, Suggest, HSK) + the rest of the Korean players on WGS/ONS/DK + k1ng

Bro apac fans really are something lol they ignored the fact that the finals for EA lcq was a Korean vs Chinese team. APAC teams are super inconsistent I'm saying this as a prx fan but literally xerxia the second best apac team has been grouped since forever. It's so disappointing to see them not improve but regress every international competition.

But APAC fans love to shit on Korea a region that's pretty much had no investment in the scene other than drx and damwon. Onslayers core started off as a team of streamers and they struggled to find a team despite them doing well.
Then Japan also inconsistent. Their top teams other than zeta literally all have 2 Korean imports lol
