So Damwon Kia invested since the beginning in KR scene (being the only few KR stablished orgs that did it) making changes to be competitive and reach international tournaments, we can say they almost got it, they just failed at semifinals several times. They also developed KR players so that's good, and then 2 american orgs that were all the time in NA spending money apply for APAC and takes 2 spots as koreans instead of DK? Where is the point here?

It makes no sense, if DK became big is thx to Riot and LoL so they should have a mutual relationship

I dont think riot could say no to t1 and GenG.
Pretty sure they wanted to split the slots 50/50 for east asia/sea.

its hard man.

T1 is the most famous esports org of all time and has the face of all esports around the world

No one is getting a spot over them, sorry

And GenG is a world champion in league and has investments in multiple regions

Idk , riot doesn't see it that way , in their opinion GenG and T1 would probably put more investment into the region

Especially considering DamWon have always fallen short of expectations, remember in M3 Berlin when DwGK should have been korean 2nd rep , but then they choked against f4q
