Here are my hot takes for the post-franchising scene for NA (I'm not aware of the T2 scene of other regions so I'll stick to NA)

C9 will be the best team in NA with Vanity IGLing some good and dedicated players (Better than current OpTic)
bang and Derrek will become the best players in NA for their respective roles
NRG will buy out OpTic core
SEN will be back to top 3 (in the Americas league) after they bench Shazam and add steel
EG will continue to remain mediocre
Cryo, zekken, Dicey, jonahP, POISED, trent, babybay, jcStani, Zander, aproto, zellsis, BabyJ, Supamen, v1c, all OpTic players - will all 100% get into franchised teams

Hot take: Derrek is not even a top 3 initiator in NA and shouldn’t be regarded as such just because he had 1 (one) good event

He's had several good tournaments over the past 1.5 years. In fact he's had only 1 instance where he did bad (Challengers event). Otherwise he's always been insane, since his time on RISE

Challengers 1 and 2 he was mid at best. At champs he was terrible. His stats on rise shouldn’t be compared to his 100T stats. Sub 200 acs isn’t good enough to be compared to the likes of Trent, Crashies (who is proven on LAN although his stats aren’t crazy), and xeppaa (who is the best fade)

I don't think they're making any roster changes
Everyone saying Will is getting replaced but I don't think he is, not after that insane LAN performance (he placed top 2 in duelists impact rating)

NRG pick up some of the Optic players maybe not whole team

Steel will stay with T1 and they will be decent in KR

If C9 drop everyone but Vanity and Leaf maybe ( maybe keep Mitch)

POISED is meh imo theirs better “T2” players
