ok shounen huh, this is hard since most shounen are main stream
i'm just gonna list u some top tier ones even if they're main streams

sport but goated anime : Haikyuu
jujutsu kaisen
dorohedoro
Dororo
ergo proxy
death parade
silver spoon (slice of life)
zetsuen no tempest
bakuman
claymore
black clover ( i didn't like it personally but people say it gets better)

all of these are worth watching, now my personal recommendation will always be

the monogatari series
have you heard of it?

if u have the timespan for a slow but surely insane burner u should watch the monogatari series it's fucking insane
a bit long and has like 6-7 seasons can't remember but the story is top top notch
and the animations let me say, different from anything u ever watched SHAFT studio has a whole other animation style
if u decided on it let me know, there's a certain order to watch it despite the release dates
or u can search reddit for the order

look man overall it's rated very highly but it's not for everyone

it's
slow but have a great story

the story starts with a lot of missing pieces and little by little u understand everything

the animations are very weird but intriguing and good

it is a masterpiece but isn't everyone's cup if u know what i mean

the character development for all characters is 100% one of the best

i can't say more bcz it will spoil it

bad points imo:
it's practically a harem and has a lot fan service but it's fine bcz it's not the main genre and the author uses it to make a very serious topic a bit less serious
