Why do people like DRX so much?

Again and again, this team is overrated and overhyped before the event and after the group stage.

Why do people overhype them like that? Don’t get me wrong, they are a decent team.
But their players have 0 personality, they don’t have a flashy playstyle, no crazy star player, nor bring a lot of viewers

They only I reason i could see is that it would be beneficial for the KR valorant scene if they won an event

The only point I agree with is the viewership point. Other than that, I disagree. Stax and to an extent buzz bring a lot of personality to the team, no single star player but multiple players who are known to pop off a lot. Flashy playstyle isn't everything, they're intelligent and methodical and that's what they're known for

I don't think you need a crazy flashy playstyle to win a tournament. And I would say that almost every player on that team has their moments in their game. They are all star players. I'm not expecting them to win the tournament but you can't say that stax doesn't have a personality. Especially at this event. Anyhow I get where you're coming from, but DRX is Asia's last hope for the year. Might as well put our all in to support them.

I feel the same about TL, fnatic, loud, FPX

I love drx because they haven't got a million braindead fans and the didnt have many bandwagoners until now. I still love watching them and how they play. I also like how they arentfrom emea or na.

How can you say that DRX fast executes are not flashy? They invented a lot of the stuff people still use, and they have consistently qualified for playoff stages through groups. It's a very good team.

a lot of people wants to see them succeed. They always made it to international lan, and almost always qualify to playoffs. but always falling short at the end.

people wants to see them finally win it all.
