Watch VCT games, specifically the agents that they play.

Don't focus on the game itself, usually, the spectator will show you these pro players making plays that you might never be able to replicate currently due to lack of mechanics, focus on where your agent is playing and what setups they use.

Ex - If you play cypher, watch Benkai and Suygetsu, where they play on the site and place tripwires and stuff.
If you play jett, watch how pro players enter the site, learn how to smoke and dash, and ask your sova or fade to recon the area that you cannot clear (Ik its tough in solo queue but it could be one extra game won and crossing that small elo gap you peaked at)

Learn a couple of lineups for mollys/sova/fade util even if you are a jett main. You can use it to find out where the sova or viper on the other team is playing from where they are etc. You can usually just dash the instant the barrier drops and kill a sova who is setting up his lineup in lower ranks.

If you just do this you will easily get out of bronze and even reach gold.

A certain level of aim is also needed so just go to the range and try killing bots with only one bullet / bot. Increase your speed and crosshair placement in DMs.

Had a really hard time getting out of bronze 1 for several episodes in 2022 but I finally got to silver 1 in August - haven't been playing much due to school
Work on your aim, go in the range and practice lining up with the head, like try getting used to aiming there
Play agents that get more frags, no way you can get out if you play team-play agents if you solo - I played chamber
Find the right agent that you can play
Don't be greedy, push unnecessarily
Don't crouch
Yeah whatever that stuff but mainly u gotta warmup/aim prac

Tbh it's great to look at the mini map to see the setups and the coordination between the players.

watch all Champions matches
play DM
practice HS with The Range bots
search for good lineups/setups (fade, sova, viper, killjoy, cypher etc) and practice them on custom games

with this you can climb at least to Gold

Try to peek with A and D if not then just press A once as the movement to aim delay is pisslow.

When you hold an angle that has another angle, try to mentally prepare to flick to the other angle in case they peek you from there.

Lastly, spend 5 mins on the range shooting heads and moving then use dms to practice crosshair placement and sound qs.

Rank: Ascendant 1 Last Act.

Follow my instructions:

You gonna have to play a lot, and Very consistently... I've noticed a barrier in bronze, silver, gold that makes lower players have to literally CARRY the game to Win, and you have to be able to CARRY consistently to do that.

Do the following, download Aimlabs, Koovaks or anything you want to train your aim, train It for at least 1 Hour before Playing. ( you Will feel you aim hot)

After this enter the training in Val and do flicking for at least 15 min.

After this enter DeathMatch and play 3 Matches of DM, get out and play one Ranked, after the Ranked play 3 DMs and play the Ranked again, 3 DM - 1 Ranked.

Do that until every match you're able to kill at least 25-20+ Kills consistently. Do this and you Will reach the "important Matches", this is the Matches that you have to Win, normally they are in the Rank-3 70pts-100pts.

When you Win them you gonna rank up, and yes, you have to give calls to your team :D or your fucked.

Good Luck pal, this always Works.

Tbh it's great to look at the mini map to see the setups and the coordination between the players.

IG you will never be able to execute the coordination between the players in any ranked games below plat.

The most you can do in bronze is create setups that you can use without the help of others if you are a sentinel.

Learn good lineups if you are an initiator and know when to gather info.

Learn standard smokes and some other utility and control smokes if you are an controller. I personally played controller sometimes but the most I would do was smoke off the chokepoints in defence and smoke the entrances to the site in attack. I watched SugarZero place these smokes in the middle of the site while a rush and honestly it changed how I play controllers and improved my anchoring capabilities a lot. Playing around and in smokes. Just brilliant to my small mind at that time.

A perfect example of where you can use utility selfishly cause your teammates will not make use of it anyways.

Just being consistent on playing, when I was lower ranks I would grind for at least 4-6 hrs a day. As I improved I started playing a little less and not dming as much. Aimlabs helped with improving my reaction time as well

reflect on each round and how you died, what you could've done better, etc.

know how to play simple scenarios like playing time on defense when the opponent hasn't planted yet and they're running out of time, simple 1v1 or 2v1 post plants on either side, etc. scenarios like these are all so winnable so make sure you play it correctly and get those rounds

i think dming is useful for crosshair placement, your aim doesn't need to be crazy and it'll get better as you play more. as long as you have ok crosshair placement you'll do fine

  1. Work on Crosshair Placement. A simple trick to improve Crosshair Placement is to aim your crosshair at your teammate's head during the buy phase to get accustomed to where the head height is. There are also numerous indicators on every map as to where the head level is. For example, aiming on the top grey line of A Box on Icebox A Site should give you a decent indicator of where the head level is.

  2. Never play Solo Queue. Solo queuing is bad for your rr unless you can carry a game on your own. Always play with a friend (preferably someone reliably good and at least 1 rank above you). Trust me, it makes all the difference in the world.

Hey!

A couple things I did to help improve (I'm immortal 1 but when I first started I placed iron3)

Ill list some tips that I haven't seen said yet

  • Always have a good mental, don't let your teammates or your own gameplay tilt you. I know it's hard but just take a deep breathe and move on.
  • Try different senses, I started out using high sense and when I switched to a lower sense I found significant aim improvement. This might help or not at all but its worth testing
  • Warm up before comp, whether thats a DM or Unrated/spike rush (I personally do a DM to warmup but I keep doing them until I hit 30 kills)
  • A mic helps, I know a lot a people don't have mics in lower ranks (oddly enough in higher too). Even if your teammates don't have mics, you comming can still help a lot!
  • Reviewing replays of your own gameplay is helpful too
  • A lot a of people say you need aimlabs or something similar to improve aim. I honestly never found them helpful (I'm not saying they aren't but for me personally they don't help). I found the range and DMs the most helpful
  • Play with confidence, make yourself think you're better than the enemy. That doesn't mean just ego peak everything though.

Valorant is a team game, unless u have insane aim that can carry you u cant make it out of bronze / silver, even if you try hard your team mate will let you down... i have been there solo q in silver gold and believe me i have broken 2 keyboards XD 3/5 games r full of kids and super toxic players they can't think straight.. slow rotation sometimes they full stack A and let b / mid free XD so i have to put my alarm bot in mid and hold B or C alone. JUST DONT SOLO Q and play 30 min sixshot and headshot reflex + gridshot speed,2 deathmatches use only sherif or guardian for the first one and vandal in the second.

W, i was gonna write pretty much the same thing except for aim labs. I’ve spent 10 mins a day and climbed from p1 to a2 since e5 act 1 started and my headshot% has increased as a result too

i’m a good igl but my aim has always been the issue, you just need to pinpoint what issue you have. there are a lot of things you can adjust to get better but it’s specific for each individual

also i dont know why some people are saying to watch pro matches and see what they do. a lot of stuff pros do can be complicated and will make you overthink. if you are in bronze you also lack the basic valorant fundamentals (map control, retakes, trades, playing numbers, executes, etc) LEARN THESE BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT WATCHING PRO GAMES
