From next year this is what I want to see

Regions

  1. EMEA ( CIS , EU , TR , MEA )
  2. EA ( CN , JPN , KR )
  3. APAC ( + OCE )
  4. SA ( LATAM + BR )
  5. NA ( LUL minor region)
  • 3 teams from each region NO DISCRIMINATION
  • teams that wins the previous tournament gets a free slot -for example fpx and m3c both will be playing here in this champions ( if this was implemented before champions)
  • totally 16 teams in masters and champions .
  • the winners can still play the next Challengers for prize pool

Edit - ain't no way SA is getting 4 slots here over EMEA , this is fucked up , imagine m3c in place of FURIA , this would make D group even more insane

  1. We will have franchising next year.
  2. Slots should be distributed by active playerbase, not geographical area.

You still need to distribute slots equally ? How is franchising a block to that ?

Yea, cause you just said America’s and Asia’s league would have 6 spots each and EMEA would have 3

So what's the slot distribution in franchising?

5 5 and 5 and either you give the extra one to someone and they have 6 or the winner of masters 2 gets the spot. Easy and fair

Actually can’t really give more to each region cause imagine a region has 7 spots to divide in a 10 teams league xD yk

But with franchising you can still distribute the teams equally right?

rito's model is better 3 major regions equal slots(hopefully ) for all regions . bigger non-divided regions is just better for pro play
