What language will the games be shoutcasted in at the venue?

For all stages of the event, games will be shoutcasted in Turkish

Does this usually happen or RIOT doing this because of so many Turkish fans ?

I think its in arena casting will be in Turkish and english casters will be casting from a different place .
I dont know if that happened before .

I mean, nothing against turkish ppl... But I really think that's not a good idea

EDIT:
If it is about the official streams, it's what I said above
If it is about the live casting (w/ crowd), I kinda agree w/ riot about this, but even this is an INTERNATIONAL event, it can be really bad

such a bad choice by riot to do so, but i really don't feel like turkish fans asked or did anything for it to be in turkish

edit: why do you agree with riot on the arena casting??? what about all the international fans

Since there is only one option that either turkish
or english shotcasting in arena and since the majority will be turkish speakers what's the problem? You will have your english Stream anyway

They are the minority, this isn't america pal you don't have to suck up to minoritys, if more people will be happy to turkish casting then english, it will be turkish

no it's actually the rational and right choice and if they did it in english they were gonna fuck the event, turkish fans are gonna be like 75% or more and if the casting is in english you will not hear the crowd interact with the plays
so this is just the only option

Like I said, I kinda agree about Riot doing shoutcast in Turkish... but being a International event, this could do bad since the other country's ppl start to drop their hype about going to the event and just watch streams from home

And then becomes to happen the same thing of Masters Copenhagen, where the not GF day will not sold out

This is what happens in LoL events in CN/KR too. It's never really a significant problem IMO.

Its fine if they are doing it but the English stream should not be delayed by 2-3 mins which usually happens a lot in in arena to twitch channel.

i checked the delay at masters copenhagen since i was actually there, and it was round about 30-40 seconds

that makes perfect sense tho? im assuming lan audience would mostly be turkish. would be cool tho to have like an earpiece for internatl lan audience tho.

hmmmm, well it's very obvious that they are expecting like 75% or even more to be turkish fans, which is reasonable
i think it's the right move bcz a lot of turkish fans don't speak english (i'm turkish on my mom's side so i'm not speculating)
well it's sad for the the international fans tho

I did a quick google search and apparently only around 17% of the Turkish population is proficient on english, so this is the right move imo

proficient could be a stretch imo, (don't hate me this is from personal experience) i will just say don't believe them when they say "we speak english" or "with english translators" even in government institutions

I don't think that'll happen. There's a delay in the arena casting to game and the English streams.
