Now i get that they are a promising team, but they havent proved themselves on LAN yet. Guard and XSET have shown how that can go so lets wait and see instead of overhyping tf out of the players

But yes Fpx is definitely the bad inconsistent fluke team and Xset is the better team for sure
Neither team has made any roster change. If you’re talking about the team improving overall, yeah I agree Xset probably has improved, given they actually made LAN second time round. Xset improving does not make fpx a fluke. And I doubt XSET has improved significantly relative to an fpx team that is obviously always improving themselves etc.

Do coaching staff not count in your comparison? How about analysts? Why not? Is it because you can’t open up stats from masters 2 and filter for acs? And this is even assuming that you can claim stuff like cryo > ardiis when their teams function very differently - Xset is set up to lean heavily on cryo and encourage him to frag as much as possible whereas FPX have a different setup. Point is teams don’t work on individual 1v1 fragging ability. Believe it or not its a 5v5 TACTICAL shooter.

The available stats to compare cryo and ardiis are from one tournament where Xset got eliminated so quickly that their stats aren’t even usable due to sample size issues. Cryo is a really good player btw, I’m not here trying to put him down. And my point about coaching staff is that you can’t really compare them without looking at their achievements. In a certain way the same can be said of IGLs - we don’t know what they’re calling, how they call, how effective it is other than by examining the end product. You can’t compare teams on individual differences, and looking at the players for a team and sorting by acs is not even a good way to see how good a player is.
we hype up the teams we like. people like you just get weird when it's not the team you support. Generally, people are fans because they choose to, not only because they perform well. Who cares if you think they suck, or haven't proven themselves. If everyone liked the best, highest stat, best performing teams, there would be no point.
I guess some peoples don't remember more than 1 months ago. they lost in their second match in even masters challengers but no problem they won against tier 2 teams in lcq and people think they will dominate against top tier world teams. same shit for tl too, they will eliminate in their group matches again
