On this particular tournament, GC teams only won when playing each other; every time they faced an all-male team, they lost.
That shows how much of a gap exists between both scenes and why game changers is important to help their scene to grow :)

in NA, GC teams are playing pretty competitively with some T3/2 teams, glad to see they aren't a complete joke and GC is actually developing further as a scene

i cant wait till we see co-ed teams at the top, it would feel so much more interesting imo
look at NA players like bob, scourge, jazzykins, mel, and sonder + more i dont know abt, argueably all of them can compete at a high T2 environment, just wait until the things around them grow more and more females are pushed into pro-play just as its advertised to men, when that happens i dont think it will be too long until co-ed teams are at the top of T1 scenes

theres no point in game changers except giving em a small bit of clout
how will they improve if they play against EACH OTHER lul

to build the scene and interest young girls into going pro in videogames, the only reason alot of pros are even pros is bc when they were younger they saw OTHER pros of the same gender and it captivated them to watch someone like them play at that level

this event is putting the girls to play against all-male teams. Also, they always play the open vct circuit

Do you seriously believe that, at some point in the future, the best all-women teams will be able to not crumble against tier2 all-men teams?
Spoiler: it's never happening. Despite all the efforts.

i dont think we'll ever see full women teams compete at t1 level, but I think that eventually, some female players will be good enough to play on mixed t1 rosters. women will prob always be at a disadvantage due to the amount of male players vs female players but gc is definitely helping grow talent, (at least in NA)

Oh of course, the incredible pace of progress in women's esports in recent years will just suddenly ground to a halt before the terrifyingly immovable men's T2 teams.

In 1.6 they sucked against men's teams, and they're still sucking, but in csgo now. Dont know which pace of progress you talking about.
The female scene is outrageously lazy. Players watch the female teams get out shot, and yes they do, but because of their bad play before they are shot they are always in disadvantages. They do not practice seriously, or often, they do not push themselves to become the best like male teams do. They expect so much before they do anything to justify it.

Tbh women won't really have much of a chance in cs scene there's really nothing appealing about it that women playerbase would play cs. Valorant in comparison to other shooters have a ton of women playing it so I can see women pro becoming good enough eventually.

lets be honest here, there will probably never be a T1 all women's team unless a GC superteam is formed, but the whole point is so eventually mixed rosters will be the norm
