All the pros that were focusing on getting better and were working hard are getting dropped bc their team is out of the franchise race and all of a sudden they don't have a source of income. You know who still has a job? ShahZam, who religiously streams 8-9 hours of low quality ranked valorant every single day even while he is at a bootcamp. It's sad but it is what it is.

When franchising finally hits and there are loads of great players on free agency that have actual dedication for the game, do u know who's getting benched ?

esports is short lived job and its 1:1000 who make it
even if you make it, only handfull of it who reach the top most pro are only getting Tier 2 at most
and Tier 1 is dominated by Prodigy 16 Year old that has god refleks or 30 Year boomer IGL

Honestly this is what I fear about franchising

Teams like Sentinels would rather keep clouted but shit players, but some great tier2 guys will be left without VCT because of it, because Shahzam took their place

Yes, he will get benched after the LCQ but at that point he will have enough bank balance and viewers to just sit back and stream all day and rack in good money.

true. he's not like an xqc where his personality and antics can hold an audience. shahz is painfully boring to watch, he's just a sen drama farm
that being said if he hasn't invested enough in good stocks to last him a lifetime yet he deserves the financial ruin coming to him

his streams are a money printer for sen + odds are he's friendly with management, he would've gotten benched right after champs otherwise
also NA teams would rather have content farmers to keep their sponsors rather than actually win anything
