Yesterday that match Xset vs Optic was the worst pro match I've ever watched in Valorant.
To understand how shit the match was, watch ThinkingsManValo on Twitch and even he said himself that this is some tier7 match.
When will Americans learn the fundamentals of this game? It's been 2years since the game launched.

there's a reason cryo aint considered to be one of the best players. and forget cryo, the mid round calls were lacking, there was no consistency in their firepower, and lost all important clutches. they forgot all fundamentals. though as much as the previous match was shit, i would like to give them leeway for it being their first match on lan
I wonder why these NA teams like The Guard and XSET (unless they play better today) completely fall over when they come to international tournaments. Because it can't be them just having LAN jitters, because it has now happened to 2 teams and it doesn't even look like individual problem as much. Overall the teams just play much worse. Do they just get rolled in scrims so much that they lose confidence or what. Someone said that zekken has apparently said that their EU scrims were going bad, and remember there being something similar with The Guard.
Regardless of it being LAN jitters it's something psychological for sure. But i think it's an NA thing. Optic also played horribly in their first matches against xia in iceland and guild this masters. They have looked shaky in every single LAN that they've been in for the first couple of matches. Xset yesterday looked eerily similar to how bad optic looked vs guild. I'd expect them to be significantly improved today vs leviatan. But if they aren't at 100% they're losing that game. Xset and optic were both firing on all cylinders in the NA upper bracket when optic won 3-1. So in peak form xset 100% deserves to be here and have the potential to beat leviatan. Their online consistency speaks to that fact and they clearly aren't pretenders like guard. They have been a top NA team for a year now. Its just about finding their comfort zone.
