19ESPORTS - COMUNICADO OFICIAL

After their stint with Giants throughout 2020, Fit1nho was one of two players picked up by 19esports for their 2021 roster, starring most of the former SUPERSTARS and Javier "Vasili" Huélamo. The players were still under contract at the time, meaning Miguel Layún's organization had to buy the players out.

In a statement tweeted by the organization and, later, tweets from General Manager Guillermo Fernández, it was revealed the players' contracts were only delivered on the week of February 7, with digital signatures received on February 15. After that, the players were registered in Spain's Social Security, a process that cost money. After all this, Fit1nho informed 19esports that he no longer would sign the contract and was leaving the organization and team.

His former teammate, Jon "jonba" Baraiazarra, also took to Twitter. In a short tweet he was critical of his countryman, who lacked efficiency in his most recent practice sessions and advising him to "mature in various aspects of life".

19esports finished in the top 16 of the VCT Stage 1: Challengers 1 qualifier after losing 2-1 to NiP. In the Challengers 2's qualifier, played yesterday, they lost their opening game in the top 128 to ORGLESS5 (now IVY). The team now has a few days to field a fifth player before the qualifier for the third Challengers, the date of which is still unknown.

Inactive now plays with:

  • Javier "Vasili" Huélamo
  • Jon "jonba" Baraiazarra
  • Salvador "Yurii" Gasco
  • Francesc "donQ" Savall
  • Álvaro "sakke" Gómez (Head coach)
