is it always this low?
sea streams get around 1k to 4k average (from what ive seen at least)
oce doesnt get more than 2k
kr gets around 4-8k
only jp gets to even 60k

only looked at twitch numbers tho. idk if theres another local platform that streams the game or youtube

A large portion of APAC viewership is on YouTube

Don't look at Twitch. We suck at Twitch. Look at Youtube and Facebook for a better metric.

if u include the official valorant channel and some watch party i think at one point it was almost around 15-19k for kr, and i bet a lot switched to LCK Korea for the MSI 2022

Most of Thai not watch on main channel, they watch on their favorite streamer channel such as Superbuss which alone got around 10K but on XIA or FS match he got around 25K-30K

In Apac only ( Excluding JP ,KR)
High to low viewership
Thailand
SA/ID
PH
MYSG
OCE

#34
Sprouts

And if you include Korea and Japan, Korea would be between SA/ID and PH, while Japan would obviously be on the top

https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2022-philippines-stage-1-challengers

Korea has higher average and peak viewership than PH + you are only looking at the Korean Twitch stream, there is also an English Broadcast and YouTube stream

SEA viewers watch from youtube more than twitch. in ID we could get average 5-7k viewers and 10-14k when big orgs like boom or onic play. at the time i write this, we have 7k people watch AE vs DU.

Thailand has the highest avg viewership but SA matches get more clout in popular matches/finals, meaning higher peaks

#42
OzyMeister
0
Frags

SA- 20-30? is that peak or average ?
coz rn I'm sure its averaging like 10k or maybe 15k Max in group stages
and pretty sure it reached 55-60k during LCQ and last APAC Qualifier finals

#46
RahuLllllll

10k to 15k only on YouTube, matches are also streamed on Twitch, rooter + different languages streams so overall its 20k +

especially when 'POBG Mobaile' fanbase has resulted in such growth in valorant scene in India like no other PC esport ever before

Avg Scout viewer , cry abt it kid go watch your elgato streamer thats the quality you deserve

#61
OzyMeister

I don't watch scout lmao dudes hella annoying nor do I watch any other PubgM streamer but that doesn't change the fact that PubgM community literally set the foundation for Indian Valo scene to grow playerbase wise

#62
Ryuji
0
Frags
+

i dont think so , POBGM has absolutely nothing to do with indian valo scene , as CS scene emerged in India the same way Valo scene emerged , it was a new game everyone had equal chance to begin and riot supported the Esports ecosystem thats why valo esports is there

#65
OzyMeister
0
Frags

what you say is true but it isn't the main factor there was a huge influx of new playerbase from the mobile gaming community in late 2020 when PubgM got banned and that was the primary factor

Not just that lol, every S8uL streamer grinded the fuck outta valo in 2020 because they didn't want to play a banned game unlike others in mobile scene. They introduced the game to a whole other kind of audience including me.
