don’t care if he’s right or wrong, the problem is it’s tone deaf and misleading

the question was also misleading to begin with. valorant didn’t “decimate” the NA scene, it was a byproduct of the scene already being destroyed by absolutely no support. i guess you can say he’s right by saying it’s “easy money” because any money is easy money compared to the shitshow it is to try and climb into an actual csgo career in NA.

also a note on “work ethic”: it’s also misleading to think that the amount of work and grind to get into a salaried team in csgo now is the same as back when twistzz was coming up. his take on the NA scene and their work ethic is hard to listen to, when his rise to tier 1 could almost certainly never be replicated in NA today.

he’s right, the NA scene is “abysmal” and you might be able to argue that some people moved for money (can’t assume that for everyone though). but framing it as if it’s just because NA players have a weak mental and bad work ethic is incredibly misinformed, tone deaf, and actually insulting to a lot of the players who’ve suffered from the lack of support in the NA csgo scene.

everyone who’s saying “lol you’re mad” or “wow really hit a nerve for val pro players lmao”… yes. they have a right to be upset that they’re being portrayed like this when they’ve spent their lives trying to make it in a scene that doesn’t care about them.

I also disagree about his word on work ethics, you cant just say that without further look into it. He prolly look at SEN and said that. One thing I realise though is that people took his word to be projected to all of NA cs immigrants even i though feel like he is aiming at some (im gueesing nitr0)
