nice throw from acend

posted about 3 years ago

he is so lucky

posted about 3 years ago

Its clear that he is having LAN nerves. Completely normal for young unexperienced player. Some people get boost like Keloqz or D3ffo, while others play worse.

posted about 3 years ago

Yesterday was massive L for EMEA, but today so far has been massive W for EMEA. I don't know what is happening. 100T can still make comeback though, but Gambit and G2 delivered.

Asuna is really struggling this map

posted about 3 years ago

True.

posted about 3 years ago

I guess that's true, but there isn't many maps in this game. They kind of just need to play it.

posted about 3 years ago

Not the best for Acend, but its not that bad. 100T ban Bind so that's gone. Acend's Ascent or Haven aren't crazy good, but they should be ok. Their Breeze is really good.

posted about 3 years ago

Don't. Unless Acend gets to their online form they will get 2-0'd by 100T.

posted about 3 years ago

Mixwell is actually crazy when you think what agents he can play. Killjoy, Viper, Skye, Raze, Sage, even Jett. Like holyy

posted about 3 years ago

They have potential

posted about 3 years ago

Derke is good in his peak, but he is soo inconsistent

posted about 3 years ago

Oh you mean Navi who got eliminated first and ForZe who got 2-0'd by TL? I'm not trying to put CIS down, respect to them. But saying CIS > EMEA or even CIS > EU is just pure delusion. For example D3ffo might dominate in CIS, but its clear he isn't doing it in EMEA against tougher opponents.

I think people just were really underrating Gambit after their close game against CR. I think it was kind of weird reaction from majority when Gambit clearly had their eyes set on VS instead of CR. Both teams played really well today, but Gambit just had it in the end. VS still insane. Kind of unlucky they were put into Group A and then faced Gambit first round of single elims.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't watch CIS by its own, but EMEA as a whole is more competitive than CIS so I think his performance there is more telling. In EMEA he has good games, but at the same time he maybe isn't the most impactful player on this team. Obviously Gambit plays Jett in bit of a unique way compared to other teams. I'm not saying he is bad, but I think he was the weakest Jett out of 4 EMEA teams that made it before Berlin. But, he has played really well on LAN.

VS insane team

posted about 3 years ago

I doubt it, but still true. G2 won against F4Q and SEN, but they are just that type of team that can just lose 4-13 and win next 13-4. Their map scores and wins are so random time to time. And they had played against SEN once already, so they were able to prepare for rematch. Now they are going against KRU without playing them before. Still G2 should win this, but anything can happen.

posted about 3 years ago

I predicted
GMB > VS
G2 > KRU
100T > ACE
SEN > ENVY
.
G2 > GMB (huge upset miracle run from G2)
100T > SEN (lan 100T just hits different)
.
100T > G2 (G2 plays well, but chokes just like how many miracle runs end)
.
I hope that G2, ACE or GMB win though

D3ffo has really stepped up this tournament. D3ffo has always been one of the weakest players on Gambit, but in this tournament couple of maps aside he has been big reason for Gambit's success.

posted about 3 years ago

IMO its so hard to say which team will take this. Both teams have been little shaky on Icebox.

posted about 3 years ago

stax literally saved them this game. He won such a important round by winning 3v1.

posted about 3 years ago

You could put Gambit to Korea and they would have similar score. I'm not saying VS won't win this, but they are by far the best team in Korea. They 2-0 most teams there.

posted about 3 years ago

VS plays in minor region they most likely have close to 100% on every map.

posted about 3 years ago

again losing important 3vs1 that possibly decided this map

posted about 3 years ago

Its actually 5Head. They have played Ascent so many times already and CR made it pretty close yesterday. VS were most likely expecting it, so Gambit decided to change things up.

posted about 3 years ago

So far, yes. Dapr has been struggling a little in this event while nAts has been crazy outside of like 1 map.

posted about 3 years ago

He is fucking monster. Insane aim, insane game sense, insane utility usage, playing sentinel role instead of duelist like wtf

posted about 3 years ago

I think majority of people do this, because of their close game against CR yesterday. But, I feel like many forget that Gambit 13-1 & 13-1 CR first time around meaning that they most likely didn't prepare much for yesterday's game and were using same stuff from 1st game while CR went through the VODs and prepped hard. CR also performed well aim wise. Obviously their choke vs 100T also affects it.

just stfu its literally for entertainment

They are bad on LAN

posted about 3 years ago

CR won more rounds vs Gambit than 100T on Ascent. NA KEKW

posted about 3 years ago

bad list + Africa is EMEA

posted about 3 years ago

2-0
2-1 if 100T starts slow and Acend gets to play Bind or Breeze.

posted about 3 years ago

Kind of understandable though. This is like his first time playing proper LAN event and he is playing close elimination game, while being the IGL. That is so much pressure for such a unexperienced player.

posted about 3 years ago

Acend and SMB both looked really good, but they are so bad on LAN.

posted about 3 years ago

It was just reply for the guy who said that ACE can only play one map. Even though their Breeze is really good as well.

posted about 3 years ago

Acend is good team and great fit for cNed IMO. The fact that he can dominate as much as he does just shows that he gets all the support needed. They have great synergy on average as well and seem to be good friends.

posted about 3 years ago

and Breeze

posted about 3 years ago

Both of these teams have looked bad so far in Berlin. Especially when you compare this to their EMEA gameplay. There is still a chance that team like Acend could activate and start showing their true potential, but it doesn't look good. While 100T looks even better than what they did in NA. If Acend wins they could make it hard for 100T on Bind or Breeze IMO. But, outside of that it doesn't look good.

posted about 3 years ago

idk but Acend looks weaker than usual IMO

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah that's crazy. They looked so good in EMEA even if they lost their seeding games. Just feels like individually they are lacking, their decision making has been pretty bad, they constantly have wrong reads etc. Its so weird especially from team like Acend that is really reactive and good at adaptation. Now it feels like they have no idea what to do. And the think is that SMB isn't playing that great either and they are still struggling. Still not sure are they worse than Paper Rex though.

posted about 3 years ago

I mean its pretty clear that they banned Haven, because they got fked by VS there. Trauma. Like I know that they have their reasons, but if you think about it that's terrible ban from Acend unless they prepped Ascent/Split like crazy.

posted about 3 years ago

These map bans are terrible from Acend. Like why would they let Ascent and Split slip through against SMB? Acend's 2 worst map and SMB's 2 best map.

posted about 3 years ago

cNed hasn't been performing that well outside of their first game against SMB. Same can be said about most of Acend tbh.

posted about 3 years ago

What? If Gambit doesn't choke and their mental stays good they have all the chances to win against VS and vice versa. I don't understand how out of nowhere VS became this super team who will go to finals without any problems in some people's heads. They had great read on Acend while Acend had bad read on them. That is what decided the match between the two.

posted about 3 years ago

Acend would almost certainly pick Breeze over Icebox if it went that way. Breeze is like their best or 2nd best map.

posted about 3 years ago

How is that copium? Gambit could win against VS and they could even match up pretty well, and ACE could make it to finals if they play to their fullest. People are really underrating them after one bad game. Having to win against 100T and then SEN is really really hard, but its not impossible.

posted about 3 years ago

I know and that's why I don't think they have a chance against other teams than VK/KRU and maybe Envy. And maybe against EMEA teams if they haven't changed too much.

posted about 3 years ago

I believe in Acend. They also won Masters 1 EU as the underdogs. Beating Team Heretics in the finals who were at the time undoubtedly best team in EU and most likely one of the bests in the world. They can do it again.
