I think Polaris might be even worse than last year ngl, Acend are fine imo since its just the league phase and there is a lot of competition in their league, if they played in polaris then acend would smash everyone too, in the end Acend might not win ascension but in terms of players they are one of the teams with the highest ceiling together with KPI and maybe a few others, Apeks is just a bunch of t1 rejects who will never make it back to t1 unless they become igls or win ascension, kaajak is talented but has never proved anything at a decent level and Apeks couldnt even beat MENA teams in Superdome...

Polaris is a farmers league, the got a good team but I dont think its better than last year, you forgot about Acend btw

I still think Enzo was a good signing as an IGL, the direction of the project is right for Liquid imo, next steps are probably getting an upgrade over Mistic and changing coaching staff, the level is really high in EMEA this year so they will struggle to be at the top but I think the team at least makes sense role wise and have a promising IGL with decent structure, this can be said for most teams in EMEA since I felt like last year all teams besides Fnatic and FUT were completly disfunctional

we made it out the hood, last year was our 9/11, never forget the shitshow we witnessed all year, about fucking time teams gave chances to t2 talent and took out the trash instead of recycling it

league tier 2 isnt as bad as whatever the fuck Leo Faria is doing with valorant t2, either way league isnt dead in those regions because people play it, csgo is dead in all asian countries except Mongolia and China and also dead in NA because people simply dont play it, I personally think valve and other TOs should give some more slots to minor regions so they have a pathway to tier1 events and the scene develops because of it but Valve mentality is to have the best of the best in their events regardless of regions, its a matter of phylosophy since Valve wants regions to take care of themselves, if CS is very popular in X region it will produce top players and viewers which equals a good local scene able to produce top teams/player and with time it will gain them more slots, I dont agree with Valve approach because I want CS to be global and I hate Valve letting the minor regions die instead of trying to make the game more popular in those, the thing is that if enough people play the game in X region and they build a proper local scene they will be fine, this is hard to do in practice tho and I think Valve should try harder to promote the game in those regions and incentivize orgs and player from those regions to develop the scene by giving them a pathway to t1 events instead of just waiting for their scene to grow organically like Europe/CIS did.

TLDR: Valve values sporting merit more than anything and wont try to grow the game in minor regions because they want it to grow organically without them stepping in

as you said it is unfair, its equally hard for male players to get to those levels too, the amount of players that get to those levels is the 0.001%, there are way more males specially at the higher levels in valorant, if there ever is a time where GC/female players are good enough for challengers they will get the chance naturally, in the end if you are good enough you can always prove your worth in the open circuit and grind your way, u shouldnt get any special treatment and I think as competitors thats something they probably dont want either, I would feel like shit knowing I only got trials or signed because of my gender, also I think its not my opinion and its just a fact that they arent good enough and I dont see V1 making it to challengers or even getting past open qualifiers, but yeah the format is shit, I stopped watching any valorant outside international tournaments since the format for t2 is terrible and the franchise leagues are a snoozefest, a closed scene where everything is ran by Riot sucks, I wish it was like csgo even if you are literally 5 no namers and you grind your way in qualifiers and make a name for yourself you can make it regardless of who you are since its all merit based
