OCE's ping is 100 to singapore and around 150 to hk doesnt seem reasonable

Iirc, a player from VLT Asteria played the Gamechangers event on SGP server from Australia and she used to get like 120+ ping ?

slot allocation is fine there is an argument for SA-3 and OCE-2 but overall looks nice. Hopefully the regional playoffs will be LAN only so that SA and OCE teams can have a fair shot at making it to masters events

yes 2 only. i know it's sad because the SA fanbase is huge but if the 2 SA participants can show up during regionals maybe they will get 3 slots in stage 2 similar to how MYSG got another slot this time around

But only of it's lan. Indian teams are used to playing below 10ping on Mumbai servers living in Mumbai

OCE one is interesting as they would have had 2 slots to NA LCQ. Otherwise good looking slotting.

I would've liked to see OCE get two slots, with HK/TW or Vietnam losing a slot, but otherwise the slot allocations look fine. Nice to see MY/SG get an extra slot because they definitely deserve it.

Ikr. I never watched the Sea challengers so I don't know how good vietnam is but Oce should get 2 slots. Doesn't seem fair to reduce a slot after what happened last time

Why does TH get slot=VN or ID?? TH have 2 teams in champion but VN don't even have team in LCQ.

Even VN didn't win any Regional tournaments in 2021, they did well in last VCT SEA, 2 teams on Quarterfinals.
.
It's not good to decrease any slot from a Country + VN is the biggest market for Riot (League), no way they will decrease their spot.
.
Better they increase it to 24 teams format, so all 8 regions get equal 3 slots. (Hopefully in Master 2 or 2023)

also are the other SEA countries allowed to participate? I know they don't have many teams but why doesn't Brunei play in MY/SG and Cambodia/Laos play in TH qualifiers?
