First of all playoffs is single elim which is just kinda shit in my opinion. second of all the grand finals isn't a BO5 but a BO3?! like wtf its the grand final, i get that its challengers but that shouldnt change anything in terms of Grand finals being a BO5

yeah last year mid season cup was a full double elim tournament with bo5 gf

It's just a mid season tournament for some points and prize money. Split 2 and then T2 playoffs is next

doesn't change jack shit though? its for points so the format should be normal. i'm not expecting a good format cuz its rito but a normal Finals BO5 isnt much to ask. especially since T2 should be getting new players ready for T1 right?
