Peak was already 750K people IIRC, so 1 million isn't that crazy. It certainly should be a great match

Youtube quality sucks tbh besides more people are interested in watching Shrouds watchparty than the official tourney

Hes right tho. Official streams are terrible. Commentators sucks, analysts sucks. If you can even call these idiots analysts. Imagine thinking nuturn will win against fnatics.

People like you used the same narrative when nuturn was playing against V1 after the first map.

Maybe ask me before assuming what I think based on what you observed other people were doing

you prefer listening to shroud over ddk/hypoc?

Yes. Ddk is awesome but he's not a pro (I know about his quake thing) and not capable to do the level of insight shroud and his buddies on stream does. Plus casters are very limited by the "caster's character" they have to follow. Shroud's watchparty stream feels very much like a podcast - no fakeness, free format, they talk about whatever they want and then you have very strong on point analysis on whats happening in games

Just because you weren't born in 2015 yet, you don't necessarily have to look down on things from that year.

I watched the tournament on shrouds stream because of the insight it provides. Aside from shroud, who was a tier 1 CS player and radiant level Valorant player, you also got guest like n0thing (tier 1 CS player/Radiant Valorant) and Hiko (Tier 1 CS pro/active tier 1 Valorant pro) providing way better insight than the plat-diamond casters provide during the games.

I think it won't even get to 500k, lot of regions not paying attention anymore

It is easy at Grand Finals.

if it goes to 5 map then could hit 1m

but if it is 3-0 (which is more likely than 5 map IMO), then I doubt it will break the previous record of 750k

It should be tough to break 500k views since many regions are out of the tourney and those regions aren't as invested in NA v EU. That said, I'm going for 600-750k viewers for a 3-0, and more (maybe 800k) if it's somehow a 3-2.

This is just the first LAN, so there's still a lot of build up left to do in this scene and this is a great start for a future world-level esports.

Think it's adding up all the offical streams, and there's a lot, and that includes the watch parties. Youtube alone from what I saw had at least 150K between the streams, and that's probably isn't all the languages.
