Holy fuck... You can watch any NBA game, football game, any sport... You will see MANY fans leaving the arena if the game is a blowout towards the end of the game. Why do you guys act like sportsmanship is something the audience is responsible for? Sportsmanship is mainly between players, if the LOUD boys didn't acknowledge FNATIC after the game okay, now we can talk about something. The audience watched the game? yes. Were they being racist or being bad sports during the games? no. Crowd sportsmanship is just not being mean to the other teams crowd. People are different, Brazil has VERY passionate fans to the point where maybe they don't care to see the opposing team lift the trophy? Who are you to say its "disrespectful"? It's their human right to do as they please as long as they're not hurting anyone... The FNATIC fans were able to watch the game perfectly fine. You're mad bc there was no FNATIC fans in brazil? Grow up dude. Sorry that your soft and an empty crowd for 2 mins ruined your viewing experience from your cozy house. Over a million people still cheered for Fnatic when they won, they just weren't at the event.
The thing is Brazil is very rooted to their nation. They are very passionate fans in anything that's competitive. They are what you call die hard fans. The event was in Brazil and they did show respect, anybody that doesn't show respect gets kicked out. You guys are all snowflakes and live in fairy world. You want the fans to be fake is what your saying? to stay and cheer for the team that made half of crowd cry.... LMAO gtfo.
I guarantee you that in champs LA you will see most the crowd stay after finals no matter who wins because the US is just fans of the game in general, we don't have die hard fans to the same degree as Brazil, a lot of just bandwagoners and frontrunners. But Brazil has die hard fans and that's just how it is. Everyone's culture is different and you can't be upset because people aren't catering to what you think is "respect".
You guys are all taking away from the fact that it was a spectacular finals nonetheless. Finding every little thing to complain about. I give you a 2023 BMW for free and you're mad because its not M3. Stop nitpicking.
I see the crowd walking out as a sign of disrespect because it means that a team as skilled as fnatic isn't worth their time even though they gave a good match for the fans against their favourite team. If this is how sports normally is, then something needs to change because if I were on that stage and I see people walking out after I win, I would hate it.
It comes with the territory of being a pro in any sport... Yea maybe the fnatic boys were a little upset about it, but that's their problem. At the end of the day your life is still great, you get paid to play video games and you still have way more people that support you then don't support you. If you want to focus on the people that don't support you that's on you, I just don't see why you would. If the tournament was in EU guess what? The crowd would have stayed at the end. The only time I've seen fans walk out on a team in traditional sports, is when their team is getting absolutely fucking destroyed. They just can't bear to see it. Fuck, even then it's not a common occurrence. Liverpool demolished Man United 7-0 today, and many of the fans were still in the stadium.
