I think I see it in ways of it being fresh wounds, if Riot accepts the application there would have been HUGE backlash because what happened is still fresh in the public eye.

Think about it like this. You’re about to partner a org whose current CEO/Owner is suspended without pay for 8 weeks due to a controversial video and doubling down on Twitter about it and then later only apologising because the org made him. Business wise it’s not a good look, that’s all I’m saying. I couldn’t care what or who Carlos hangs out with, I’m looking at this completely for a business stand point and it Riots decision makes sense.
